Oh sure, when your brother says that white text on black is difficult to read, you say it's my age. But when someone else says so...
I do find it easier to read. And the black text on white background thingy is actually in webpage design 101.

I go away for a bit and feh, all hell breaks loose! Er, I kinda like da peenk. Maybe it is a grrrl thing.
White on black is actually readable. It's just things like red on black, dark brown on black etc that torture the eye.
Too much white can be glaring, y'know. Cream on off-white are nice background colours.
Yes, pink! To break up the black text on white.
Actually, I'm more in the mood for purple, but I'm too tired after today's tweaking to play with colour schemes. Another day...
I like the pink, and I like the frowers.

I like the clean and less-claustrophobic look, which black has a tendency to produce.
