White-out

Because black text on a white background is the easiest on the eye.

Thank you, Francey!
(And Adri, too, who first used one of her blog designs.)

Well, it is easier to read than white on black.

Excuse me now while I try and stop the bleeding from the eyes from all that pink. = )

Also, the problem with this template is that, short of hitting the 'back' button on the browser (or some creative url-tampering), there's no way to go back to the original post.

I could be wrong, I could be missing the 'return to original blog screen' button underneath all that pink.

Oh sure, when your brother says that white text on black is difficult to read, you say it's my age. But when someone else says so...

I do find it easier to read. And the black text on white background thingy is actually in webpage design 101.

Gee, most of the boys don't like the pink. Big surprise :P

Brother, actually, the white-text-on-black has been wearing on my eyes for the last couple of months or so. Just needed to find the time to hunt up a new template and then tweak it accordingly.

trisha > I think I sound too fierce when I comment on your blog. I'm actually the kind of girl that, er, has four pairs of pink shoes!

White on black is actually readable. It's just things like red on black, dark brown on black etc that torture the eye.

Too much white can be glaring, y'know. Cream on off-white are nice background colours.

Yes, pink! To break up the black text on white.

Actually, I'm more in the mood for purple, but I'm too tired after today's tweaking to play with colour schemes. Another day...

Ok what.

I like the clean and less-claustrophobic look, which black has a tendency to produce.

Wait a minute, am I the ONLY guy who didn't complain about the pink?

Chandler --- Yes, I think you are :) Er ... is this the part where we make Chandler Bing jokes about one's sexuality?

Right on.

"Could pink be* any more gay?"

* pronounce the word with the first intonation in Hanyu Pinyin and you'll get the Chandler Bing effect :)
