Why isn't Serenity opening in Singapore today?? Nor Mirrormask either. I'm feeling the geek love all over the internet and feel distinctly left out (and put out).
I never thought I'd say this, but I guess I'll settle for Time Burton's The Corpse Bride instead.

Corpse Bride is a must-watch in it's own right hor! Enjoy!!
Lol, Tym! I revel in seeing another Whedon-maniac getting all excitable in being once again able to immerse themselves in the Whedon-verse. It's sad that Joss Whedon is barely known in Singapore. His works are also often mocked at... did you get friends deriding you for your love of Buffy? Well I sure had a lot of self defending to do. ok digressing.
Serenity's like the hottest thing in the US now. Corpse Bride is all right I suppose. The voice acting was impeccable. It didn't really leave a strong enough impact on me for me to comment about any other thing else.
Yep, enjoyed The Corpse Bride!
The MDA website indicates that Serenity has received a PG rating, so it should be showing eventually...
Re: Defending Buffy and Whedon's work in general. That comes with the territory :)
