... there are two public holidays this week (Tue and Thu, one is Hari Raya Puasa or Eid ul-Fitr as the rest of the Muslim world calls it, the other is Deepavali, not sure which is which because the bloody local press is helpful in using shorthand to refer to it as "Deeparaya" *puke*) ...
I have been having lacklustre meals of late (including TWO Burger King meals, ordered and eaten entirely of my own volition, it wasn't like we were on a desert island that had nothing to eat except Burger King), so we'll need to fix that in the coming week.

you probably have been to Annalakshmi. if not, here's on it.
Yep, I know Annalakshmi. A friend of mine held her wedding dinner there. It was brilliant.
The thing about me and South Indian vegetarian food is, I grew up eating it, I like it well enough, but, like eating a salad for a meal, I always feel a little un-full afterwards. I blame it firmly on my upbringing --- I'm too well-bred a carnivore to get by on eating just veggies.
more importantly, what is a maundering? is it a maudlin meandering? because i can see how burger king twice in quick succession might make me maudlin. oh, unless one (or both) of those meals were fries and a shake--even though that is traditionally more a mcdonald's meal than a burger king one.... damn. all of a sudden i want to go to burger king. but i suspect it is one of those things where i will go, and eat, and enjoy it, oh don't get me wrong, and then regret it. hngh.
don't you wish burger king had the monopoly game like mcdonald's? cos then, you could've tried for the million dollars...TWICE!
Stellou > I don't ever regret eating Burger King (see how uncultivated my tastebuds are?). I just feel middle class fast food guilt thereafter.
kk > I don't think we have this million dollar competition in Singapore...
