Sleepwalking

I was so tired last night ---

--- after I got to the neighbourhood coffeeshop to pick up dinner, I took ten minutes to decide between a mere three possibilities.

--- as I ordered my food, I mistakenly said "noodles" instead of "rice", and had to be corrected by the stallholder, since he didn't actually sell noodles.

--- on my way back up to the flat, I realised I'd forgotten to get something for tomorrow's breakfast, but the thought of taking the elevator back down, walking just next door to the provision store and coming back again was too exhausting to be contemplated.

I was so tired this morning that when I picked up my Nalgene bottle, it slid right out of my hands and bounced off my laptop before my mind even registered the fact that it was no longer in my grasp. (No water damage; the Nalgene's screwtop is more secure than a West Virginia nuclear bunker.)

Cowboy Caleb, I owe you a Musical Baton. As soon as I get some real sleep, you'll have it.

I also owe this blog a post about today being the last of the big-bang Star Wars openings we'll probably have for a while. That'll take a little longer --- too much to say, not enough waking hours right now.

To sleep, perchance to dream --- ay, there's the rub.

What about not giving GL any more money?

ACtually I don't think it'll really matter, he's already filthy rich.

Sorry for digressing, but I think it's my luck I came across the blog of a fellow BtvS fan. Surely ain't easy. Did ya know that Joss Whedon is writing the script for an upcoming Wonder Woman movie?

Yep, and Charisma Carpenter and Sarah Michelle Gellar are in the running to take over Linda Carter...

P.S. Regarding the DVDs; I meant that I'm gonna get those series (and more) for myself there, so I'll be trying to get a bulk discount. Therefore, if you want anything, let me know, and I can send it back here, since I'm sending other stuff for other people already. Cheers!

In brief:

Joss Whedon rocks!!!

George Lucas is a hack.

ichiosaurius --- What's the closing date for orders? I must look at my finances first. Dying to get Alias rather than the rest of BtVS at the moment, though.

I totally see Charisma Carpenter as Wonder Woman --- but I suppose it's the hair talking...

Yeah. I miss Charisma Carpenter dearly. Tym, I love Alias too! Just have a damn thing for these strong female protaganists. Anyway, I completed the whole of season 3 of Alias on DVD, rented those from VideoEZY. Desperately awaiting Season 4!

1 more Buffy-related question I need to ask you: do you get any readers coming up to you and deriding you for being a Buffy-holic?

I majorly heart Alias. Just need to invest in the DVDs so that I can watch the seasons and burn them into my brain as indelibly as BtVS has been.

Haven't had any random blog readers needle me about being a Buffy fan. Seeing as this is my blog, that would be a little presumptuous of them :)

Perhaps, but if anyone could actually memorise a quote by a character in the show, AND remember the episode it came from, it would be good enough for me, considering the paucity of bloggers with good tastes in TV shows.

I don't actually know BtVS that well, beyond the first three seasons. I just use Google a lot when I need to track down a quote :)

But what I really came here to add was this: Almost three months after, I've finally blogged about the release of Revenge of the Sith, Star Wars and me.
