So far, the shortlist consists of exactly one photo:
Hence my reader's poll: Which picture (if any) from my Flickr account do you really, really, really like? Bearing in mind that it'll be displayed in a portrait format.
Edited to add (11:47 pm), because beeker complained that I was doling out homework on my blog: I certainly don't mean for anyone to go through every one of the 903 images on my Flickr account. I just imagined that if any particular image stood out in a reader's memory, now would be the time to say so.

I like this one: http://tinyurl.com/4vbmyr . Oh and any photo of Ink is nice too :)
My vote goes for the Ink In The Sink photo

... except I would either turn it into a cheezy LOLcat image or add some random Seussian comment since
"Ink In The Sink" sounds irresistibly Seussian =)

Looks like not everyone heard your PORTRAIT format request... oh well. Personally, this little assignment has suddenly made fully apparent how inconvenient Flickr's browsing tools are.
But, what are you looking for exactly? Like cultural documentation or more abstract stuff? Do you have a running theme?
Thanks for all the responses. Looks like the Ink-in-a-sink pic has a huge lead. But I feel weird putting up in this flat, a picture taken in this flat, especially when the picture would be displayed not five steps away from where it was taken. Plus Ink's taken to snoozing there, so it's all too likely that one would see the real thing anyway.
I really don't have a theme. Maybe cultural documentary somewhat, since the idea for this corner is to show pictures taken by me. They will sit in a 2x2 formation on a white wall, above a waist-high bookshelf.
More suggestions welcome!
