I was actually thinking of setting up a fake blog so that I could tell people about it, but that's only fun if I can blog on my real blog about the fake one, and then you know lah, Singapore so small, word sure to get around, and then the game is up.In other news, I came within two millimeters of spilling water onto my iBook keyboard. Now that would've put me in therapy right away.
I'm writing about blogging a fake blog --- so that I can attend a bloggers conference --- while concealing my real blog. Someone sign me up for therapy right now.

I've spilled red wine on my iBook keyboard before - you can't imagine the panic that caused. Thankfully, quick action saved the iBook, and the day.
i was eating cereal out of a flimsy bowl and spilt soy milk into my powerbook - it whirred violently and then shut itself down and i thought all was lost but within five minutes (after turning the computer upside down and watching milk flow out of it and then using my room mate's hair dryer to try and get the rest out)it was back to normal. it even smelt sort of sweet for a few days after, haha.
I don't think you need therapy. I think you should do it. Blogging is so remote anyways... why not go for a second or third pseudonym? Or just pretend to be another famous blogger... why, golly, you can just do anything because, hey, it's a pseudonym!
I went to one of these blog meet-up thingees, and was surprisingly annoyed at how everyone there was less glamourous nor interesting than in their blog. But in all fairness, that happens to me outside blogmeets as well.
You don't even have to have a blog to attend Bloggers.sg, you know :)
is this an apple convention for bloggers?
wahj & sarah --- Your stories make me feel soooo much better. Now I know that there is hope, even if *touch wood* any accidents happen in the vicinity of my iBook.
Nardac --- I can't pretend to be a famous blogger. Singapore is too small to pull off that trick. I'll let you know if I run into any 'interesting' people.
Daryl --- Yah, I know. But I can't decide if it's weirder to say, "I don't have a blog, I'm just here to check things out", or to confess to owning this blog.
lisamontgomery --- It's a convention for Singapore bloggers. Nothing to do with Apple.
