Too much sci-fi

I dreamed of Cylons and Terminators --- or rather, of robots that looked like Cylons but behaved like Terminators. Which made for a confusing moment in the dream when the room we were hiding in was discovered by Cylon-lookalikes, and we froze, thinking they were going to kill us all --- but they merely looked at us, decided we weren't part of their mission (in Terminator: The Sarah Chronicles, this is an important distinction) and moved on.

This is what comes of watching
Terminator: The Sarah Chronicles before bed, while having Battlestar Galactica on the brain.

I'm excited about watching the extra long series finale tomorrow. I thought it would be really cheesy, but Sarah Connor monologues and flashbacks aside I've enjoyed it heaps.

I haven't decided if I lurve it yet, but I'm certainly happy to keep watching for a few more episodes (only watched up to Episode 5 ("Queen's Gambit") so far.

Speaking of cheese, have you heard about the cheese-fest that is the new Knight Rider remake? I haven't seen it, but this Live-Blog report killed me.

Yeah I heard about that. From reading the Live-Blog it sounds horrid. What's next for the ruination treatment? I'm betting on either Airwolf or Streethawk.

Ahhh, but in the new BSG, the cylons look like humans. So that would make your dream pretty old skool :)

Alas, I'm not quite that old-school. I failed to mention that the Cylons in my dream were definitely the new Centurion models, like those shown here. No hot Tricia Helfer or Grace Park action in my dreams, heh.
